The Center for Simulational PhysicsÕ 18th
Annual Workshop, Recent Developments in Computer Simulation Studies in
Condensed Mattter Physics, is scheduled
for March 7-11, 2005. Participants are welcome for part or all of this
period. Ample time for discussion will be allowed between talks, and
access to The University of Georgia computing facilities, including the
IBM SP and the SGI Origin 2000, will be provided.
Registration Fee: Full registration includes
proceedings $100.00, student registration without proceedings $25.00 Registration
may be sent in advance or paid upon arrival at the workshop. Cash,
personal U.S. checks, or travelerÕs Checks are accepted; no Euro check or
credit cards will be
accepted.
Accommodations, which will include a deluxe daily
continental breakfast bar, will be provided by the Holiday Inn Express,
197 East. Broad St., Athens at a daily rate of $72 per night (single or
double).The cutoff date for
reservations in the area of rooms reserved for the workshop is Sunday,
Feb. 20, 2005. Linda will make these reservations using the dates you
furnish. Special needs should be noted on this form.
Transportation is provided by taxi from the
Athens airport or by AAA Airport Express from the Atlanta Airport.A reservation for the AAA is
necessary.
If you are driving your own or a rental car and
plan to park on campus, please be aware that the closest you can park to
the Physics and Student Learning Center buildings is the paid lot at the
Tate Student Center.Please
indicate your plan to have a car, so parking permits can be obtained in
advance.
